(Please excuse the simplicity… Poetry is unchartered territory for me.)

    I search

    And I yearn

For the other half of my soul.

    I pray

    And I cry

For the children I’ve yet to bear.

    I weep

    And I mourn

    The loneliness I must endure.

    I hope

    And I trust

The Perfect Goodness behind it all.

Missnistar, you should definitely try navigating through more uncharted territory if this beautiful poem is your first attempt. Wow! There is so much pain mixed with so much hope in this piece, and I am just struck by how profoundly you brought it home by highlighting Hakadosh Baruch Hu’s Perfect Goodness. Thank you for sharing this with us today! I don’t think we’ve met you before, so a huge welcome! 🙂 If you want to introduce yourself, we’d love to get to know you a bit. Here are a couple of fun Intro threads, if you’d like to check them out:

Thanks so much for your feedback! I’m sorry for the late reply. I think I actually tried replying, but it got lost in the system update… I guess better late than never!
