Word Warrior, thank you for astutely pointing out that a superb title needs to have a meaning to them. It doesn’t matter if it’s a ‘slap a noun with an adjective together’ kind of title or a poetic phrase of words. It just has to carry weight like reflecting the soul of the story. It can even be a single word but it shouldn’t be shallow. Actually, I find authors who use one-word or two-word titles with profound meaning to take clever creativity up a notch (Like Riva Pomerantz’s Enough and Split Ends).
HappiWriter- with all the talk about titles, can’t help but express my curiosity about the story itself 🙂
